Grants
Middle Tennessee Mathematics Teachers will award a grant to an in-service math teacher at the Annual (MT)^2 Annual Meeting. The grant will be $500 and will support the purchase of either (a) math-specific technology, or (b) a classroom set of mathematics manipulatives. Attendance of faculty members at the conference is required for a school to validate its eligibility. Recipients are required to present a session at the MTMT Conference in year following the award to share “how they made use of the technology/manipulatives.” Only schools in Middle Tennessee* may apply.

Scholarships
Middle Tennessee Mathematics Teachers awards one $500 scholarship each year to a preservice teacher in their senior year. The deadline for students who will be student teaching in the subsequent semester is November 15 (Spring residency) or June 15 (Fall residency). The scholarship may be used for tuition, books, and teaching expenses (such as classroom supplies) incurred while student teaching. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.
